Vaughn Chipeur (born December 21, 1984 in Lloydminster) is a Canadian figure skater. He was the 2009 Canadian silver medalist and 2002 junior silver medalist. He won the bronze medal at the 2006 Nebelhorn Trophy. Chipeur is coached by Scott Davis.

Career

Chipeur began his skating career at the age of nine with the Lloydminster Skating Club. When he started to excel he moved to the Royal Glenora Club in Edmonton, Alberta, where he was coached by Michael Jiranek.

On the national level, he won the silver medals in Pre-Novice and Novice Men's events and two bronze medals in the Junior Men's event.

He began competing at the Senior level nationally during the 2004-2005 season. He made his senior international debut in the 2006-2007 season and won the bronze medal at the 2006 Nebelhorn Trophy. This earned him a host invitation to the 2006 Skate Canada International, where he placed 7th.

In the 2007-2008 season, Chipeur placed 5th at the 2007 Skate Canada International and 11th at the 2007 NHK Trophy. He placed 4th at Nationals and went to the 2008 Four Continents Championships, where he placed 7th.

In the 2008-2009 season, Chipeur placed 5th at the 2008 Cup of China.

His choreographers are Tom Dickson, Kurt Browning, and Gary Beacom. He has also worked with Sandra Bezic in previous seasons.
